Mama's House this CNY

初二 at Mama's house. Impromptu reunion lunch in the kitchen for old time sake. I miss Mama and the times she cooked for us. A typical Nonya - she would whip up meals on random Sundays. I rmb writing about those meals in my 日记。Mee siam, Laksa, Popiah, some times just dishes with rice. 🍚🥢 There was no WhatsApp groups then, Mama had to call each family on our land lane to call us over. Taking pix with flowers just like how Mama would always orchestrate the photos 😅 Plus us insisting on traditions - to still kneel & give our well wishes to our elders. #cny2019 #新年快乐
